This particular sculpture was created in collaboration with ideas from a prospective client. Their idea was of an ash figure mounted on a rough slate base with different types of wooden hair pieces flowing behind her. Eventually I used oak, teak, cherry, sapele, beech and finished with whitened poplar as fringe tresses. The different, contrasting woods created a great effect which I intend to develope on further in a future piece.
